MTC Week # 3 - Keep Calm and Crutch On

This week went by super fast!

So on Tuesday we taught Oleea (sora wilson) and it went so good, we asked her to be baptized and she said yes :) even though our investigators are not real, it's amazing how we can truly teach with the spirit and receive revelation for them still.  Tuesday night we had gym, i was in a super intense game of volleyball. this elder set me the ball, i went up to spike it, and an elder on the other side of the net attempted to block it, when he went up he fell through the net, as i was landing i twisted my ankle pretty badly. I have been on crutches for 4 days, but we got the point and it was worth it :) my sweet companion is the best! she helps me hop up the stairs and carries all my books for me :)

Wednesday: we had TLC, so that is where volunteers come from wherever who speak your mission language, and us missionaries go in and teach them. We basically give them FHE lessons because they are all active members or RM's. Sora Lee and I taught straight by the spirit, it was so great, we talked about having faith, going to our heavenly father through prayer, and enduring to the end. ALL IN ROMANIAN! they said our language sounds really good :)

Thursday and friday and saturday, we taught some lessons to our Simpatisants (investigators) and had a lot of grammer and language class time. Our teachers laughed at us because we all looked so wiped by Saturday night.

Sunday is my favorite day of the week here in the MTC. well relief society is always the best. We go after sacrament to listen to Music and the spoken word, then we have a guest speaker.
guess who the guest speaker was?!
JANICE KAPP PERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just love her! the second they announced her i started crying.... literally (the spirit was already so strong in the room.)
she talked to us about her primary songs and how we can use them as missionaries. we sang a medley of 6 songs.
1. a childs prayer
2. love is spoken here
3. armies of heleman
4. trying to be like jesus
5. i love to see the temple
6. i belong to the church of jesus christ.
wow it was amazing! she is so inspired on her music.
then we got to sing her lyrics to Sisters in zion!
ah I just love Janice Kapp Perry :)

Eu steu ca Isus Hristos este salvatorul  nostru, si daca noi rugam, vei primi un respuns.

haha that's a short line of testimony :) it's hard to type since we don't have the accents, but I love you all so much, thank you for all the love and prayers.
