Hi Everybody!
So this week was a really good week, great way to start the
transfer.
We finally started to see all of our hard work from last
transfer pay off. We have 5 new friends we have started teaching!!!! So
awesome.
There is a Family, the elders block knocked into them for English
and the wife was interested so they gave them to us as a referral. We contacted
them and went over that night for an English lesson. We thought it was just a
wife and husband, but turns out they have 2 daughters ages 14 and 12! They all
speak English pretty well and are interested also in hearing our message! We
have an appointment with them tonight, we're really excited.
We also are teaching a lady 30/30 English, she walked into the
church one day and we happened to be there and asked for us to come to her
house, she lives right next to us so she saw us walking a lot and is also
interested in the church!
So we have seen a lot of our hard work start to pay off here. We
are really happy about it and are soo excited we have these great people to
know.
We spent a lot of the week with some members making paper
flowers for the mother’s day activity on Saturday. We made like 60. Lots of
paper and glue. But they were all really pretty and then on Saturday we
had the Ziua de Mamei (mothers Day) activity. It went really well. All the
primary kids went up and would share poems or sing songs about their moms,
seriously cutest thing. Then us sisters sang "I know that my redeemer
lives" and Sora Fotea and I sang "Beautiful Savior" together.
Then our Elders sang "Nearer my god to thee" It was a really good
activity and the sisters loved the flowers!
Sunday was good, all the women got a flower and Heidi Chocolate.
2 of my favorite things :) In Sunday school we always start by sharing a
random thing about it..... so I said "I love balloons" then Fatele Fotea
said " I love to pop balloons" then another guy said " I like to
fix balloons that have been popped" haha it was super funny, it's a
good way to start the class off I think. We’re always laughing and we get to
know each other a little better.
Well,This week was great, and we're ready for another great busy
week. Thank you for all you're love and support, it really means a lot.
Love you all!!!
SHOUT OUT!!!! to my brother ELDER JOSH PARR, it's his 19th
birthday today!!! He is serving in the Belgium/Netherlands
Mission. Happy birthday Josh <3
