Week 8 Ploiesti - "If you can touch it, you can catch it"

Heyy Family :)

This week was super busy but very fun.

Monday Night we met with the family we're teaching 30/30's to. We gave them a Book of Mormon and taught them a little about it. They were very nice and listened but not too interested, they think we are just young fanatics who will get over our religion in 10 years... so we're going to have to get a little more creative with them. They love us as friends right now and so we're glad they didn't just throw us out the door.

Tuesday us 4 sisters went to the Musat family for lunch. Their girls are the cutest, we all had our hair down so they insisted that we have a braiding train... super cute. They make me miss all my cousins:)

Wednesday we had Zone Conference. It was a really good conference. Our Zone Leaders taught a cool thing.

"If you can touch it, you can catch it." As missionaries you have lots of people you run into and you walk away saying, "that was a good touch" now instead of just having touches, have catches! Invite, Invite, Invite!

I liked that. You can apply that as missionaries, and also as member missionaries! We've tried applying it this past week and it's been really cool, our GiGi's worker friend now has been invited to our English class, and our store clerk as well :)

Thursday we had a lesson with a 30/30 we have. She is super sweet. She is interested in our message so we have another lesson with her tonight and are excited to see how it goes.

Friday morning we had a lesson with a member who is preparing for a mission soon! We started teaching mission prep. It was really fun. Now I understand how my St. George sister missionaries felt when I would meet with them :)

We did lots of preparation for our Inscriere (sign up) for English classes on Saturday. We made cute decorations, blew up tons of balloons and got it all set up.

That night we had a lesson with a sweet member. Her mom fed us food, really yummy. Mancare de Mazare it's called.

Saturday was our big day. That morning we had the English sign ups.. We expected hundreds of people because on Facebook there were a lot of likes...5 people showed up. BUT the place looked fantastic :) We're sure more will show up when we start classes on Tuesday.

That night we had the Relief Society birthday party with the branch. It was cute, they had a birthday cake, and they gave all the women picture frames with the RS symbol inside and the date, then cute cards the RS president hand made for each of us. It was a good time.

Sunday was nice and much needed. We had a great turnout to church, as a mission we had ___ at church. Super cool.

Well, That's all for this week.
Love you all, thanks for your emails, love and support. Have a great week!!

Love, Sora Maegan Parr
